Heraclos is a Master's graduation project created at Gobelins, l'école de l'image (France). The primary goal of this project was to demonstrate technical and creative skills around WebGL technology. We wanted to confirm the ability to create a coherent, customized workflow without using a game engine

Heraclos is a Master's graduation project created at Gobelins, l'école de l'image (France). The primary goal of this project was to demonstrate technical and creative skills around WebGL technology. We wanted to confirm the ability to create a coherent, customized workflow without using a game engine

This meant building everything from scratch engine, physics, graphics rendering based on the few resources available at the time, such as three.js, to name one. Today, the project has reached over a million unique players.
